Story
Founded in 2013, The Last Word Caravan Bar came as both a last-ditch effort and the fulfillment of a life-long dream. The owner Charles Fieldstone had owned and operated 3 bars in the past – The Shelton in Croydon, Green Eyes in Wembley, and the notorious Sothenton’s in Canning Town. All had gone well for quite some time, but growing competition in the greater London Area made it difficult for speak-easy style watering holes to stay afloat. Time was running out and change was on the horizon. With over a decade of experience under his belt, Charles knew a good opportunity when it crossed his path.
What’s so good about a caravan bar? Well, it starts with mobility. The bar is never held down to one place so it can reach more of its customers throughout the city. Plus, it brings with it the spirits, stories, and good sentiments that it picks up around the city, distributing that unique London character even throughout all of the districts. Whether you’re thirsty after work or looking for that late night last-stop, The Last Word Caravan Bar is out on the prowl. Make sure to keep an eye out for your chance to pull belly-up at London’s finest mobile drinking establishment.
